Who each is for
Fast Response AI is for teams that want calls, texts and web chat in one shared inbox, with AI answering included. Starter is $29 a month with 250 voice minutes, 30 AI minutes and 250 texts, Pro is $79 with unlimited users, and Scale is $249. It books on Google or Outlook calendars and can warm-transfer a call to a person.
2Line.AI is for one owner’s line. There’s no team inbox, but the plan costs less and Mia uses credits only while she talks. She answers in your business name, books inside your hours and hands urgent calls to you, and you can tap Hand to me any time. Quotes, reminders with C/R replies, review requests and On my way texts are built in.
What a typical day looks like with each
With Fast Response AI
A three-person moving company shares Fast Response AI. The AI answers when the phones are busy, books estimates on the shared Google calendar and warm-transfers serious leads to whoever is free. Web chat leads land in the same inbox as calls and texts.
With 2Line.AI
You’re a solo mover loading a truck. Mia answers, asks the move date, addresses and home size, and books an estimate inside your hours. She texts a quote from your prices; the customer replies YES to accept. Anyone who needs you now gets handed to you.
Choose 2Line.AI if
- You work alone and want a lower plan price, paying for Mia only when she talks
- You want reminders, review requests, quotes and On my way texts built in
Fast Response AI may fit better if
- You have a team that shares one inbox
- You want web chat, Outlook or Zapier connections
- You want to keep your current number
Switching from Fast Response AI to 2Line.AI
- Pick a new local number in 2Line.AI from the area codes near you. Porting isn’t supported, so this is a new number, not your Fast Response AI number moved over.
- Set your business name, hours and caller ID name (up to 15 characters). Teach Mia from your business name or website, then call the new number from another phone to test her.
- Keep Fast Response AI running while you switch, so anyone who still has the old number reaches you. A month or two of overlap is a sensible minimum.
- Tell your customers. Text your regulars from the new number, and change the old number’s voicemail greeting to give the new one.
- Update your Google Business Profile (Edit profile, then Contact, then Phone number), then your website, Apple Maps, Yelp, Facebook, cards and truck.
- When calls to the old number have slowed to a trickle, cancel Fast Response AI.
If several people answer your Fast Response AI inbox, decide who will own the 2Line.AI account. Each account has one owner, though it can run several lines. Step-by-step help for Google is in our guide to changing your Google Business Profile phone number.
What 2Line.AI doesn’t do
Worth knowing before you choose:
- No shared team inbox or per-user seats. Each account has one owner, with as many lines as you need.
- No web chat. 2Line.AI handles calls and texts on your business number.
- No number porting. You get a new local US number; you can’t move an existing number in.
- No CRM, Google Calendar or Zapier integrations. Bookings sync to your iPhone Calendar, and leads and slips live in the app.
- Calls, texts and Mia aren’t bundled into the plan; they use credits. At zero credits they pause until you add more, and your number stays yours.
