2Line AI LLC (“2Line AI LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the legal entity that provides 2Line.AI, a United States business communications product. 2Line.AI is the product and brand name. On the Apple App Store, the seller name is 2Line AI LLC.
The Service gives solo professionals, freelancers, and small businesses a second phone number plus an AI receptionist. The receptionist can answer calls 24/7 using rules you control, record calls when you enable recording, transcribe those calls, and produce instant summaries. Voice and SMS are delivered through Telnyx. The public website at 2line.ai is hosted on Vercel. Cloudflare provides DNS for 2line.ai (it is not the website host). Transcription, summarization, and receptionist replies are processed by third-party AI processors under contract on our instructions. Payments for the iOS App are handled by Apple through the App Store (In-App Purchase). We do not collect full payment card numbers.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, retain, and delete Personal Information through our website at https://2line.ai, the 2Line.AI mobile applications (the “App”), and related pages, including https://2line.ai/support (together, the “Service”). It is posted as a full public webpage at https://2line.ai/privacy.
The Service is offered for use in the United States. It is a business tool. Commercial and professional use is allowed. We do not currently offer the Service to residents of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
Depending on where you live in the United States, you may have additional rights. See State privacy rights notice.

Personal Information we collect
“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you or your household. We collect the following categories.
Information you provide. When you create an account, buy a plan, configure the AI receptionist, or contact support, you may give us:
- Identifiers and contact data: name, business name, email address, billing address, the mobile number you use to sign in or receive alerts, and the 2Line second number we assign to you.
- Account credentials and profile data: password or other authentication secrets (stored in hashed or similarly protected form), plan type, and receptionist settings (schedules, greetings, routing rules, recording on/off, SMS-alert on/off).
- Payment-related data needed to complete a purchase. Apple collects and processes App Store payments. We receive purchase and subscription status, not full payment card numbers.
- Support communications: emails, in-app messages, and the content of your requests to info@2line.ai.
- Your Content: SMS you send or receive on the 2Line number, voicemail, call recordings you enable, transcripts, summaries, and the rules you write for the AI receptionist.
Third-party sources, including Telnyx. We receive Personal Information from companies that help us run the Service:
- Telnyx (voice and SMS): number provisioning status, call setup and teardown data, SMS delivery receipts, routing information, and similar telecommunications metadata needed to complete calls and texts.
- Apple: App Store purchase and subscription status needed to unlock paid features.
- People who call or text your 2Line number: their telephone number and the content of the communication, as described below.
Automatic collection. When you use the website or App, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Device and log data: device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, language, crash logs, and diagnostic events.
- Usage data: screens viewed, feature flags (for example, recording enabled), timestamps, and approximate session duration.
- Coarse location: city, region, or time zone inferred from IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location for advertising. Location used for emergency calling, if any, is described in the Terms of Use.
Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries. Recording is off by default. If you enable recording in the App, we collect the audio of calls on your 2Line number, generate transcripts, and produce summaries for you. Callers hear an audio disclosure while recording is on. We use this content to provide the receptionist, playback, search, and summary features you requested.
SMS. We collect the content of SMS sent to or from your 2Line number, timestamps, and destination numbers, so we can deliver two-way texting. Separately, if you opt in to 2Line.AI program SMS (account/service notices and missed-call or summary alerts), we collect the mobile number you designate, your SMS opt-in and opt-out (STOP) status, and the program messages we send. That program is described in SMS and mobile information.
Telephone log data. For calls and texts on the Service we keep calling-party number, called-party number, forwarding or routing information, date and time, duration or message length, and call or message type. This is the operational record of your second line.
Data about callers. If someone reaches your 2Line number, we process their telephone number, the time of the call or text, and—if you have enabled recording or transcription—their voice and the words they speak. We do this for the account holder, to operate the AI receptionist and to show the account holder a summary. If you are a caller, this Policy explains how that information is handled.
We do not collect Personal Information from data brokers for advertising, and we do not buy marketing lists to profile you.
Tracking Technologies
Some automatic collection uses:
- Cookies (session and persistent) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and protect the site.
- Local storage (including HTML5 or similar on-device storage) for the same purposes in the browser or App.
- Pixels (including pixel tags in emails or pages) to see whether a page or service email was opened, for security and delivery—not to operate an ad network.
- Mobile SDKs used for analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and security.
We use these technologies for analytics and security, to operate and improve the Service. We do not use advertising networks, ad-ID marketplaces, or interest-based advertising pixels. You can often limit cookies in your browser and reset device advertising identifiers in system settings; doing so may affect login or security features.
How we use your Personal Information
We use Personal Information for the following purposes.
Service delivery, including the AI receptionist. To create and maintain your account; assign and operate your second number; place and receive calls and SMS via Telnyx; run the AI receptionist 24/7 according to your rules; play greetings; take messages; enable call recording, transcription, and instant summaries when you turn those features on; send account/service SMS and missed-call or summary alerts if you opt in; process payments through Apple In-App Purchase; and provide customer support.
Research, development, and analytics. To understand how features perform, fix bugs, measure reliability (answer rate, failed calls, SMS delivery), and improve prompts, latency, and product quality. We prefer aggregated or de-identified data for these purposes where practical.
Communications. To send service, security, and support messages (for example, number assignment, failed payment, or a reply from info@2line.ai). Email about your account is separate from SMS. SMS is sent only as described in SMS and mobile information.
Compliance and protection. To enforce our Terms of Use; detect fraud, spam, robocalling, and abuse; secure accounts; keep legally required telecommunications and tax records; and respond to lawful requests.
Consent. Where we ask for a specific consent—such as enabling call recording or checking the SMS-only opt-in box—we use the related information for that purpose.
De-identified data. We may create de-identified or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and use it to improve the Service. We will not attempt to re-identify that data except as allowed by law.
We do not use Personal Information for interest-based advertising. We do not sell Personal Information. We do not share Personal Information with advertisers or data brokers.
How we share your Personal Information
We share Personal Information only as follows. We do not share it with advertising partners or data brokers.
Affiliates. Any parent, subsidiary, or other entity under common control with 2Line AI LLC, solely to operate the Service.
Service providers. Companies that process Personal Information on our behalf:
- Telnyx, for voice, SMS, and telephone numbers.
- Vercel, for hosting the public website.
- Cloudflare, for DNS for 2line.ai (not website hosting).
- Apple, for App Store In-App Purchase, receipts, and subscription status.
- Third-party AI processors, for transcription, summarization, and receptionist replies, under contract on our instructions.
- Analytics, email-delivery, customer-support, and security vendors that help us run the Service.
Equal protection (Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1). Any third party with whom we share user data—including analytics tools, third-party SDKs, Telnyx, Vercel, Cloudflare, Apple, our AI processors, and any parent, subsidiary, or other related entity that has access to user data—is contractually required to provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy and as required by the App Store Review Guidelines.
Professional advisors. Lawyers, accountants, insurers, and similar advisors, under confidentiality, when needed to run our business.
Authorities. Law enforcement or regulators when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, a valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
Emergency. If a user attempts to reach emergency services through a 2Line number, we may disclose callback and available location information to emergency authorities to the extent the network supports it. A 2Line number is not a substitute for traditional 911. See our Terms of Use.
Business transferees. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, we may disclose Personal Information to counterparties and their advisors under confidentiality, and transfer it as part of the transaction. This Privacy Policy will continue to apply unless you are notified otherwise.
People you communicate with. Callers and texters on your 2Line number receive whatever you (or your AI receptionist, acting on your rules) send them: your number, greetings, SMS, and—when recording is on—the recording disclosure. We are not responsible for how those people keep what they hear or read.
We do not sell Personal Information. We do not share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.
SMS and mobile information
Brand: 2Line.AI
Legal entity: 2Line AI LLC
Program: account and customer-care SMS for your second number
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We share SMS opt-in and consent status only with the providers that deliver 2Line.AI program messages (Telnyx, wireless carriers, and similar messaging vendors), and only to deliver those messages. We do not share SMS opt-in or consent status for any other purpose.
How you opt in. The 2Line.AI SMS program is not combined with email or voice-call consent. When you create a 2Line.AI account and obtain a second phone number, you may optionally enable SMS alerts in the App by checking an SMS-only box. Checking that box is not required to create an account, to keep your number, or to use calling. The box describes the program, states that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, includes the mobile-information sentence above, and states that you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. After you opt in, we send a confirmation SMS.
What we send (account / customer care only). If you opt in, 2Line.AI sends SMS to the mobile number you designate for:
- Account and service notifications about your second number (for example, number assignment, security or verification codes, billing receipts, or service outages).
- Missed-call alerts and call-summary alerts when you enable those alerts.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
HELP. Reply HELP or email info@2line.ai.
STOP. Reply STOP to cancel program SMS (account/service notices and missed-call or summary alerts). You will receive a confirmation. We will send no further program SMS, except that confirmation. STOP does not end two-way texts on your 2Line number. You may opt in to program SMS again later. We keep a record of your STOP request so we honor it.
Two-way texting on your 2Line number (conversations you have with your own customers or callers) is part of the phone product, not this program. Those messages are content you transmit. You are responsible for any consent those conversations require.
Full program terms: https://2line.ai/terms (SMS Program Terms). Privacy: https://2line.ai/privacy.
Retention and deletion
We keep Personal Information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Account data (identifiers, settings, plan): for the life of the account, then deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period after closure, unless a longer period is required.
- Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries: while your account is open and the items remain in your workspace, or for any shorter period you set in the App. You may delete individual items in the App. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify this content except as required for security, fraud prevention, or law.
- Telephone logs and SMS delivery records: for billing, security, and telecommunications recordkeeping, then deletion or de-identification.
- SMS program opt-in and STOP records: for as long as needed to prove consent and to honor opt-out (we retain STOP so we do not text you again).
- Payment records: as required for tax, accounting, and the processor’s rules.
- Support tickets: for a reasonable period to complete your request and improve support quality.
How to revoke consent or request deletion (Apple 5.1.1). You may:
- In the App, turn off call recording, turn off SMS alerts, edit your profile, delete recordings or summaries, and submit account deletion.
- Email info@2line.ai from the address on your account and ask us to delete your account and Personal Information.
- Reply STOP to program SMS.
We will delete or de-identify Personal Information after a verified request, unless we must retain a limited record (for example, a STOP log, a billing record, or data we are legally required to keep). Revoking microphone, notification, or similar device permissions in system settings stops new collection from those sensors but does not by itself delete data we already hold; use in-app deletion or email us for that.
We are not obligated to keep a backup copy of Your Content after you or we delete it.
Your choices
Access and update. Log into the App or website to review and update name, email, receptionist rules, recording, and alert settings.
Product email opt-out. Use the unsubscribe link in a product email, or email info@2line.ai. You will still receive transactional email (receipts, security, legal notices).
SMS opt-out. Reply STOP. See SMS and mobile information.
Delete account. Use account deletion in the App, or email info@2line.ai. We will confirm and process deletion as described in Retention and deletion.
Do not sell / do not share / no targeted ads. We do not sell or share Personal Information and we do not use it for targeted advertising. If you still wish to send a request, email info@2line.ai.
Declining to provide data. If you do not provide information we need to operate the line (for example, an account email), we cannot provide the Service.
Other sites and services
The Service may link to Apple, Telnyx, Vercel, or other sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own. This Policy applies only to the 2Line.AI Service.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor contracts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure.
International data transfer
2Line AI LLC offers the Service to U.S. users. We and our providers—including Vercel, Telnyx, Cloudflare (DNS), Apple, and our AI processors—may process Personal Information in the United States and in other countries where they operate. Those places may have privacy laws that differ from the laws of your state. We use contracts and the equal-protection commitments described above to protect the data.
Children
The Service is a business product. It is not directed to children and is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact info@2line.ai and we will delete it.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version at https://2line.ai/privacy and change the date above. If a change is material, we will also notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
